2006 Engine Master Challenge
results are in.
Thirty-nine engine builders gathered in Long Island for a dyno showdown. The showing included Chevrolet’s, Fords, Pontiacs and even Mopars. Tony Bischoff kicked butt with a screaming Ford and finished ONE point ahead of John Kasse’s Pontiac. Our team’s big-block Chevrolet with a PKRE camshaft, intake manifold, carburetion, and cylinder head guidance posted great numbers toping 710 HP. We’re no slackers. We had a great time and loved being wined and dined. Big thanks to our great friends at Ross Pistons, Comp Cams, and CHI Cylinder Head. Watch for us next year!

PKRE Race Car in the Works
2005 left more than a few dents in our fender. We are happy report a new car is on the way. We’d plan to sneak attack the PSCA guys with a new car in 2008 but the crash also caused a serious dent in our race budget. We were hoping to put a smack down on the Silver Spick but it wasn’t in the cards. Our outlook for 2008 is bright. The Ten of Cups card indicated nothing but joy and happiness for PKRE in the coming year.
